On June 15th, 2014, VLCDC organized an event called "Our Children's Dreams" in the conference hall of Thanh Nien Investment Company - 345/134 Tran Hung Dao St, Cau Kho Ward, Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh city. The event pleasurably welcomed the participations of Doctor Nguyen Bach Phuc - the president of HASCON Association, professors, sponsors, and VLCDC's volunteers from all around the country.
"Our Children's Dreams" presented numerous charity activities, which are parts of the program "ENHANCE LIVING CONDITIONS FOR CHILDREN WITH DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES," accomplished by VLCDC over the last 2 years. The meeting was also a show featuring meaningful performances performed by the "ambassadors" of the event, who actually are business-men, professors, artists and our volunteers.
About 80 guests of the event were all moved by the video clips recording multiple touching moments of our special classes, which are exceptionally created for pediatric patients at Ho Chi Minh City's Children Hospitals 1 & 2 and children with glass bones. The videos prepared by our volunteers also showed valuable scenes from life-skills classes operated for orphans and poor children living in Loc Tho Pagoda - Nha Trang City. Children hospitals, orphanages and pagodas are places where our project has come to not only help unfortunate children forget parts of their pain and deprivation in their daily life but also bring innocent laughs to these children as well as honest consolation to their parents.
Ms. Vu Bao Chau - The Director of the project shared: "As I hold in my hands the letters filling with the most beautiful and innocent dreams written by these unfortunate patients, orphans and poor children, I know I have to put all my effort in my work. Through this event, I want to send my sincere appreciation to my family, my friends, the ambassadors, volunteers of VLCDC and Be Khoe Be Ngoan Club of the Medical University for all their supports and companionship. They have been the greatest sources of support not only by helping intensify the project but also by giving us trust and strength. I hope we would fortunately meet more "ambassadors" in the future to accompany us in the journey of bringing joys and laughs to our children!"
